Stratigraphic layering of content.
To help unused metaphors find productive lives in today's conversations, we employ the time-tested technique of making things up.
Today we visualize the layering of data, since privacy is an issue and privacy is all about data.
We have developed a geologic metaphor, and by "we" I mean "me", and be "geologic" we mean "exhibiting a layered sorting similar to that of sands, gravels and boulders in stream beds."
